Main Jon Purpose
Professional sourcing of marketing that meets both the needs and businessrequirements.It is the role of the Procurement Manager to ensure value ofUnileverindirect marketing spend is optimised.
Leadand managea number ofsub-portfoliosand multiple strategic marketing sourcing projects across multiplecountries
Lead in negotiating with suppliers, interacting about planning and outcomes, and assessing success against desiredoutcomes by deployingUnilever IP Purchasing Agreements and Contracts
Developstrong relationships with the senior Marketing and CD stakeholder community cluster and in-country to co-create and implement the strategic plans
Liaise with the Cluster Markets Directors and Managers to ensure to provide an end to end service to the stakeholder community
Provide procurement expertise and market knowledge as an owner of the supply markets for specified clusters within area of spendresponsibility
Identify, select and manage key suppliers for continuous improvement through rigorous cost and valueanalysis to ensurethe effective implementation
Develop jointly agreed performance measurement framework with key suppliers and motivate suppliers base with rewards andincentives
Involvesuppliers in all requirement-raising stages, both during the longer-term category review and ongoing demand periods and maximise supplier involvement in specifiedsettings
Help develop and execute ongoing communications with the business for the selected sourcing strategies and progress for clusters within area of spend responsibility.
Oversee the application of ethical compliance to ensure that sourcing arrangements are fully compliant, and that requirements such as authority to commit are fully implemented
Understand and manage keyrisks inthe Portfolio and report on mitigationactions.
Analysecosts including activitiesbasedon reviewing suppliers’ cost drivers
Motivate and facilitate team to deliver projects to an agreed plan.
Bachelor or Master’s Degree with relevant major
Over 5 years of relevant sourcing experience
Thorough understanding of the supplier cost models and lifetime cost of acquisition
Strong in leadership skill with experience in cross-functional teammanagement
Competent in data analysis to ensure all sourcing opportunities have been explored
Excellent negotiation and communication skill
Effective influencing skills and problem solving skill
Capable of doing multi tasks in variousfields
Attentionto detail, innovative,fast adaption to new changes
Fluentin writing and speakinginEnglish
