Description

·Understand customer’s business flows and requirements in order to identify cash, trade and other X-sell opportunities.

·Develop account plan detailing the potential business with strategies and targets for an effective and profitable marketing thrust. Define size and monitor market in terms of customer segments for specific products.

·Network management – local and regional to source deals

·Convert business opportunities to deal win

·Disciplined handoff to implementation – deal review, deal activation

·Manage account revenue realization on a monthly basis vs budget

·Develop a working knowledge of non-traditional products to be able to scope business opportunities for cross-selling

·Coordinate with RMs on overall account strategies and with Treasury on treasury-related deals

·Keep abreast of market/economic and government developments vis-à-vis the impact on any account handled

·Cooperate with internal product specialists in providing updates about market needs/ best practices to develop/ customize products/ solutions

·CRM Pipeline management – coordinate reports from all users for TTS Sale Head

·Attending Regional Sales review and prepare regional reports

·Participate in Regional/ Global deals and meet all deadlines

·Participation in industry workshops, conferences and Citibank events

·Direct manager of the Sales team members (currently two).Responsible for coaching and developing, conducting performance and compensation reviews, and building talent and bench strength across the team

·Coordinate with Sales Head counterparts from other countries in ASEAN and across Asia to share and learn best practices, align on regional initiatives, and leverage the network for multi-country sales opportunities originating out of Vietnam

·Key member of the country TTS management team, supporting the Country TTS Head in formulating and driving strategy and initiatives

·Other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

·A University Degree and/or Master Degree from a reputable university with majors in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, IT, Technology or related areas

·Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is also required

·Sales and client fronting experience is preferred

·Experience in managing people is preferred

·Possess thorough knowledge of every relationship within the assigned portfolio of accounts and the industries from which they belong

·Possess thorough knowledge of transaction banking products i.e. trade and cash management as well as local regulations.

·Must be externally focused with good communication capability: Meeting with customers, managing relationships with regulators and other correspondent banks

·Ability to partner with Cash and Trade Product in sharing of understanding customer needs for solution build up

·Ability to partner with Regional Office and RM team to capture business opportunities

·Ability to construct responses to unique customer requirements in the form offer letters and proposals

·Ability to make a logic and persuasive presentation to present TTS products and Solution to clients

·Ability to make sale deck and solution proposal

·Ability to coordinate of country and regional deals

·Input for new product development and electronic/efficient solutions

·Have good team work and discipline

·Ability to manage people

·Ability to identify and develop talent as well as influence team culture
