Description

·Develop strategies for the Retail Banking business in terms of value proposition, pricing, servicing, and distribution in order to maintain year-on-year growth on number of customers, product penetration, profit and build the long term franchise in the marketplace.

·Manage the P&L of the Retail Banking business including direct and indirect revenue and expenses, setting clear objectives and strategies to build and grow the assess business.

·Grow market share and penetration into the segments ; Citibanking and Citigold to improve and sharpen our value propositions in the segments with product team

·Innovate and oversee the development of new wealth management and transaction banking products and ensure that our products are best in class.

·Oversee and partner with other Retail Banking products development, sales and distribution via matrix relationship with respective SMG.

·Manage the organization with the right structure and right people placement to deliver business results

·Co-ordinate with regional office to work on new initiatives and strategic projects.

·Ensure audit readiness and strong branch controls at all times and secure successful audit results.

Ensure high compliance and regulatory standards as well as high levels of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.

  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree desired.

  • 15+ years of experience, with relevant knowledge and experience in the financial industry including Retail Banking.

  • Strong understanding of Citigroup’s policies (GCCFRP).

  • Strong understanding of both local and Citi compliance and regulations.

  • Experience managing large group of people.

  • Strong financial and business analysis skills.

  • Effective business planning and strategic skills.

  • Strong command of both spoken and written English.

  • Ability to deal comfortably on a highly complex function, multiple aspects of business and matrix structure.

  • Team player and leader.

  • Ability to translate business strategy to detail processes and high attention to details.

  • Ability to balance and resolve multiple and quite often conflicting objectives.

  • Flexibility and adaptability.
