1, Summary:

Leads the development of Channel & Shopper Learnings plans to drive actionable insights that can be translated into clear growth strategies

Drives ROI through clear recommendations on Promotional & Pricing Strategies that deliver efficiency and effectiveness of Channel and Customer Investment

Supports optimisation of resource deployment through store level understanding of growth drivers at outlet level

  • Reporting directly to: Category Development Manager

  • Subordinate: NA

  • High frequency of interaction: Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial Excellent

  • Working location: 18 Luy Ban Bich Street, Tan Thoi Hoa ward, Tan Phu dist., HCM city.

2, Key Responsibilities:

Shopper and Channel Learning Plans

  • Builds annual Shopper and Channel learning plan to create a foundation for internal and external integrated planning

  • Uses data to diagnose opportunity and risks, helping to drive efficiency and effectiveness of all channel and customer investment

  • Helps inform Category Growth Strategy and Plans across retail channels

  • Collation of best practices from across ANI that can enable adoption of insight based actions

  • Liaise with Trade and Finance teams to build Efficiency and Effectiveness Analysis of Trade Programs

  • Uses data to review and build recommendations on how Commercial Strategies can be improved to drive ROI

  • Helps define Commercial Pricing Strategy, leveraging competitor and channel intelligence on pricing relativity and elasticity

  • Establish a regular Competitor Radar that provides deep insights that lead to robust action plans

Sales and Channel Analytics

  • Provide consultation on most effective ways to harness data across multiple sources to enable informed decision making, and measurement and evaluation

  • Impartial evaluation of effectiveness of Customer Marketing programs to determine future investment priorities and guidelines

  • Ensure clear tracking and control dashboards in place to most effectively measure distribution, placements, pricing, competitor activity and resulting impact to growth / market share performance

People Management:

  • Support employees in implementation of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.

  • Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals.

  • Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.

  • Special projects as needed by Management team.


Work Experience :

  • Minimum 7-year experience in analytical or shopper role with commercial bias

  • Good commercial and financial acumen

Core Skill Requirement:

  • Proficient skills in MS Office / AC Nielsen and various Ad Hoc or Continuous Data Sources

  • Proficient understanding of KWP / IPSOS / TNS research approaches

  • Good command of English

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field
