Usage Programs

·Initiate card usage programs in order to achieve total sales volume as per KPI’s

·Ensure the card usage program is complied to the procedure set forth

·Monitor competitors’ activities and evaluate the market environment to ensure that we have a plan and strategy in response to the change in the market.

·Develop advertising / communication work in conjunction with Marketing

·Keep track of the programs in force and performance metrics

·Develop brochure application form, sale & marketing materials as Sales support working with marketing

·To always track competitive interest and features

·Involve in activation program in order to achieve CTB strategy

·Ensure the budget is well managed within the total marketing budget provided

Merchant Acquisition

·Acquire new qualified merchants according to the criteria set by management

·Conduct effective sales calls in a professional manner to enhance strong relationship with selected key merchants in the assigned areas

·Enhance the Citibank brand presence through tactical tieups in various merchants / usage categories

·Co-ordinate and set up card acceptance for new branches of existing key merchants on a timely basis

·Build up and maintain good relationship with key merchants to ensure optimized business volume and minimize card surcharge and suppression

·Fully support Marketing function in development and implementation of marketing promotion programs to maximize sales and support for selected merchants

·Have initiative in identifying ways of increasing revenues and/or reducing cost, improving systems and procedures, as well as initiate and support change and encourage innovation in others

·Do other works assigned by supervisor with regards to merchant development and management

Qualifications

  • University graduate

  • Around 5-7 years of sales service and acquiring experience preferably with Consumer banking

  • Demonstrated merchant acquisitions experience

  • Strong numerical, analytical and planning skills

  • Fluent English both in writing and speaking

  • Can work independently and under pressure

  • Results oriented
